you will get $49 off your party. You will have the package to do yourself. The package will be delivered with as much notice as possible. We are not in the business to make your party plans fail. We love what we do. Sometimes things do not work out quite the way we expect. Please help your child understand that any changes or errors that may occur are not anything to do with them. After all, this party is for them!

If you would like to reschedule, we would be happy to do that. There will not be a cost reduction.

Do I need to stay with my child the entire party? TOP

Yes, the parent or guardian is responsible for all the party children.  No child may be left alone with the host at ANY TIME.  Parents and guardians must accompany each and every child to the public bathroom at the St Anne's and Sherbrook locations.

Who is responsible for the children if they become hurt or sick at the party? TOP

Dress Up and Play Parties cares about the well being of children.  We will offer any help we can to make sure your children are safe.  However, all responsibilities for the children ultimately falls on the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the birthday child.

What if my child has a reaction to the costume materials, craft materials, etc? TOP

Dress Up and Play Parties uses supplies that are considered safe and child friendly.  We do suggest that children ages 3 to 10 use our party products.

*Younger children may swallow small game pieces or accessories for the costumes.  However, if an adult is supervising one on one with a child under the age of 3 years old, then you are responsible for the child and we can accommodate your party supply requests.

Thank you!

How many adults are required at the party? TOP

*Dress Up and Play Parties requires at least two adult who are prepared to help with all activities for the entire party.

We find that the more adult help, the better the experience for everyone.  Even older children require help during crafts and games.  Just the encouragement and interest from other adults can make a big difference to the children and their experience!

Please don't overlook the help of an older sibling, cousin, a grandparent or friend.  These guests love to to be a helper and do a really great job!

On some occasions there are as many parents as children.  This has proven to be a great deal of fun since everyone was relaxed and happy!

Thank you very much!

What if we want to change themes, or my child changes their mind? TOP

We are happy to offer a maximum of 2 rounds of revisions to your party plans.  After that, we will charge $50 for all theme changes.  Parties can take some time to plan, organize and order supplies for.  Please keep this in mind!:o)

Revisions does not have anything to do with altering the costumes.

What kind of food should we serve our guests? Do you have cakes? What tips do you have? TOP

We see many children eat their birthday snacks and lunches. We know food can be expensive, taste varies from family to family and all hosts try their best!

We have found through our observations that children like to have a choice of smaller items like cut up fruit, veggies, dry finger foods, square cut pizza slices and regular sized hot dogs. Children also enjoy cookies and cupcakes over large pieces of cake. Save yourself the money and time by offering food that is on the simple, casual and lighter side. Always be sure to ask if any of the guests have allergies.

You are free to offer what you would like, however we wanted to share our observations with you!

When should I arrive at the St Anne's or Sherbrook locations? TOP

If the guests arrive at 1pm for example, then you can arrive at that time, too.  We will be setting up the final details 30 mins before and every minute counts.

During the first hour of the party (while the children play and party), you will have enough time to arrange food in the background of the party room.
